![]() When it was revealed that Spider-Man will be rocking the Iron Spider suit in Infinity War, many started theorizing that Stark might've also done some improvements on his own suit. Since his Scarlet Witch-induced vision in Avengers: Age of Ultron the genius, billionaire, playboy, philanthropist has taken upon himself to make sure that he all geared up for what's to come. With the imminent arrival of big bad Thanos in the MCU, heroes from all pockets of the franchise are preparing for the worst, but nobody as intense as Tony Stark. Instead, the nanomachines build a repulsor out of the usual materials you'd build a repulsor from.Iron Man's Bleeding Edge Armor is finally confirmed for Avengers: Infinity War. Partly because the forces involved in the operation of a repulsor would render the fragile nanomachines inert. If you need to replace a surface with a repulsor, the nanomachines don't arrange themselves to form a repulsor. Most of the suit is inert matter actually. The machines can travel inside the suit, they can remove material from the suit and move it to onboard storage, and they can pick up material from the suit's onboard storage (that storage contains several different materials, because the suit's systems need various materials with various proprieties for different usages), but that's all they do, pretty much. That doesn't mean the suit is all nano machines. The suit is built by nanoscale self replicating machines, and it is constantly repaired by the same machines, and whenever changes to its structure need to take place, the same machines reorganise it to suit the user's ever changing needs. You seem to be assuming that the suit is made entierly out of nanoscale self replicating machines, but it isn't the case. ![]() What If Fiction ( This is the best place for "general" questions)įor non-serious answers for real world science problems try:Īnd just for fun, don't forget to check out our friends at Who would win ( Go here for questions about who would win in a fight or competition between two or more characters) This subreddit is for discussion of fiction using information about the universe and not meta information about the work.
